Title:
DIRECT-COUPLED TRACK STRUCTURE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2003261901
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a direct-coupled track structure in which the fatigue strength of a subbase course composed of a cement curable material is increased by optimizing the mixing ratio of short fibers and the breakdown of the subbase course can be prevented.

In the direct-coupled track structure in which a section between a concrete floor slab 1 and a sleeper 2 is connected by the subbase course 3 consisting of the cement curable material such as concrete, mortar or the like, the short fibers at a volume ratio of 1 to 5% are mixed in the cement curable material constituting the subbase course 3. When the mixing ratio of the short fibers is set in 1% or more, the tensile stress of concrete or mortar is suddenly reduced temporarily immediately after the generation of a crack but it is changed abruptly into an increase temporarily, thus augmenting fatigue strength.
