PURPOSE: To correct a billet straightly even when the billet obliques and to execute stable operation by providing at least two pusher means with which the billet is pushed back by one pitch of walking beam in the vicinity of hearth rollers at furnace end with which the billet is sent out of a heat holding furnace near by both ends of the billet.

CONSTITUTION: In a continuous casting equipment 1 for billet 2, rolling equipment 3 for billet 2, transporting equipment 4 for billet 2 and heat holding furnace 5 on the way of the transporting equipment 4, at least two pusher means 10, 11 with which the billet 2 is pushed back by one pitch of the walking beam device 7 in the direction of the transporting equipment 4 in the vicinity of the hearth rollers 9 at furnace end of a direct rolling equipment which consists of the heat holding furnace 5 which is provided with the walking beam device 7 with which the billet 2 is transported forwards and backwards by prescribed pitches in the direction that is orthogonally crossed with the transporting direction of the transporting equipment 4 and hearth rollers 9 at furnace end which are arranged at the terminal of the walking beam device and with which the billet 2 is sent out of the furnace and stocking equipment 6 for billet are provided near by both ends of the billet 2. So, even when the billet obliques, stable operation can be executed by correcting the billet straightly.
