Title:
DIRECT X-RAY ELEMENT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2000010227
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To make a direct X-ray image forming element possible to be treated under peripheral light and to further reduce the minimum density level.

This direct X-ray element is formed by containing a support and at least one layer of a solution-permeable hydrophilic colloidal layer unit coated on the support and containing silver halide particles having sensitivity to an X-ray. In this element, the silver halide particles sensitive to the X-ray are sulfur-sensitized and the hydrophilic colloidal layer unit contains the combination of dyes capable of bleaching a treating solution and are selected so as to provide, before treatment, an average density more than 3.0 to the whole of a first continuous spectral sensitivity region extended from the minimum wave length of 320 nm at which the silver halide particles show a absorption coefficient of at least 0.5 cm-1 and to provide an average density more than 3.0 to the whole of a second continuous spectral sensitivity region including a wave lengths of 600-650 nm.
