Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject device capable of freely observing the change of a detection portion from the outside of the device by disposing the detection portion for detecting a chemical or physical change in response to the advance of a sterilization treatment and a cable in proximity to the detection portion, wherein the detection portion and the cable are packed with the sterilization vessel.
SOLUTION: This sterilization state-confirming device for confirming a sterilization state in a sterilization vessel constituting a sterilizing device during the operation of the sterilizing device comprises a detection portion 1 for detecting at least one of chemical and physical changes in response to the advance of a sterilization treatment in the sterilization vessel, a cable, such as a fiber scope 2, whose one end is disposed at a place near to the detector 1 or connected to the detector 1, and an air-permeable material. The detection portion 1 and one end of the cable 2 are covered with a packing material 3. In the sterilization state-confirming device, the change of the detection portion can freely be observed from the other end of the cable 2 pulled out from the sterilization vessel during the operation of the sterilization device.
