To provide a disc brake device for avoiding the pinching of an outer piston resulting from at least the eccentric wear of an outer brake pad specific for the opposed-piston disc brake device.
The outer piston 4 is arranged eccentrically from an inner piston 3 to the center side of a disc rotor 1. So, when the outer periphery of the disc rotor 1 being at a high temperature falls down to the side of the outer brake pad 6, the outer piston 4 thrusts the outer brake pad 6 near its outer edge 6D against the disc rotor 1 with lower thrusting force to reduce eccentric wear near the outer edge 6D. Thus, during braking operation when the disc rotor 1 does not fall down, the tilting of the outer piston 4 is reduced following the tilting of the outer brake pad 6 to the side of the disc rotor 1 to avoid the pinching of the outer piston 4 against an outer cylinder 2B.
