Title:
DISC BRAKE WITH PARKING BRAKE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS6246032
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To enable a brake to be formed in simplified construction, by providing a separate friction material from the friction material, used in an ordinary brake, and pressing the friction material by a single lever. CONSTITUTION:A lever 8 mounts to its one end side, decreasing a distance from a turn supporting point smaller than that from said point to the other end side, a friction material 10 forced to be brought into contact with the peripheral surface of a disc D by turning the lever. The friction material 10 is formed into construction such that a lining 12 is fixed to a U-shaped supporting fixture 11. Accordingly, the supporting fixture 11 is inserted into a groove 13 provided corresponding to the lever 8, and if the supporting fixture is fixed by a split pin 14 or the like, a brake is formed into simplified construction by enabling brake torque to be received by a surface 15 of the groove 13.
