Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a highly reliable disc cartridge which surely prevents a disc holder from mis-insertion in a cartridge case.
SOLUTION: The disc cartridge comprises a cartridge case 1 having a head insert part and a drive shaft part provided at specified positions and a disc holder-inserting opening at one side face, a disc holder 2 having a disc holding part and removably housed in the cartridge case 1, and a recording disc removably held with the disc holder 2. Mis-insertion-preventing parts 22, 27 are formed respectively at the side end of the disc holder-inserting opening of the cartridge case 1, and corresponding part of the disc holder 2 to the case side end.
