Abstract:
PURPOSE: To increase the efficiency of transfer step in which molded upper lids, lower lids and inner lids are transferred onto a conveyer from a molding machine, by a method wherein molded disc cases are sucked and vertically held at a first position, turned as they are transferred straight and horizontally positioned at a second position.
CONSTITUTION: Inner lids 2 are transferred to a sucking/holding device 7 that has been on standby in vertical posture at a fist position, and four of the inner lids 2 are sucked and held at positions A, B, C and D. In this case, the inner lids 2 on the lower positions are arranged inversely to the inner lids 2 on the upper positions. The four inner lids 2 that are sucked and held are turned by a cam plate in the course of straight movement of a straight transfer device 8 and transferred and positioned onto second horizontal positions A, B, C and D on conveyers 6a and 6b with their sucked faces up. At the same time, the inner lids 2 on the lower positions C and D are turned and shifted to the right orientation synchronously with the rotation of the sucking/holding device 7 in the course of straight movement. Therefore, the period of time until accumulating/packaging step can be shortened.
