To provide a discharge control method of a secondary battery for a vacuum cleaner capable of keeping a time for driving an electric blower constant regardless of charging frequency, and to provide a vacuum cleaner capable of performing a discharge control method of the secondary battery.
This discharge control method, equipped with the battery 6 for passing discharge currents through the electric blower 5 and a controller 22 for controlling the discharge currents to drivingly control the electric blower 5, includes a counter 31 for counting the charging frequency of the battery 6 and a correction circuit 32 for calculating a correction factor in accordance with the number of counts of the counter 31 to reduce the discharge currents in accordance with the correction factor calculated by the correction circuit 32 and keep the time for driving the electric blower 5 constant while maintaining a predetermined output through one-time charging.
