Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a lever of a seat detection sensor from hindering a sheet being discharged or loaded when the sheet is discharged to a first tray by using a second discharge roller.SOLUTION: A discharge device (a discharge unit 3) includes: a housing 80; a first tray (a unit side discharge tray 70D) provided at the housing 80; a second tray (a unit side discharge tray 70C) which is located above the first tray and provided so as to be detachably attached to the housing 80; a first discharge roller (a unit side discharge roller 65D) which discharges a sheet from the housing 80 to the first tray; a second discharge roller (a unit side discharge roller 65C) which discharges the sheet from the housing 80 to the second tray; and a sheet detection sensor (a passing paper sensor 400) having a lever 410, which contacts with the sheet discharged from the first discharge roller and swings, and configured to detect the sheet passing. The second tray has: the lever 410; and a frame F which supports the lever 410 so that the lever 410 may swing.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
