Abstract:
To provide a safe and highly reliable discharge device of a smoothing capacitor capable of preventing discharge of the smoothing capacitor with a contactor being closed.SOLUTION: An inverter circuit operation determination circuit 15a is supplied with drive signals Su, Sv, and Sw that are output to a gate drive circuit 10 by a control circuit 9. The drive signals Su, Sv, and Sw are a signal for controlling on/off of an inverter circuit. The inverter circuit operation determination circuit 15a determines whether the inverter circuit is controlled or not, and when determining that the inverter circuit is controlled to be off, transmits a discharge stop signal Stop to a discharge circuit 15. Even if the discharge circuit 15 tries to start discharge operation of the smoothing capacitor 12, since the discharge stop signal Stop is transmitted from the inverter circuit operation determination circuit 15a, start of the discharge operation is stopped.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
