Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve the luminous efficiency of a fluorescent lamp luminescence type discharge tube and reduce the power consumption.
CONSTITUTION: A discharge path with the distance L contributing to luminescence is constituted of multiple luminescence sections 14, 15 made of a semi- cylindrical curve, and the cross section area of the discharge path is reduced while the overall luminescence section are is secured. The current density of the discharge path is maintained, the luminescence output is obtained, the overall drive current is reduced, and the luminous efficiency of a discharge tube is improved.
