Title:
DISCRIMINATION CIRCUIT FOR DUTY RATIO OF SIGNAL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2693085
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To discriminate duty ratio of plural stages by providing a clock oscillating section, plural counters, and a discriminating section which outputs a discriminating signal depending on the number of times of the borrow signal by sensing a borrow signal outputted from each counter.
CONSTITUTION: When a tape is running in the direction of fast forward, count up is simultaneously performed by a counter 1 (24), a counter 2 (25), and a counter 3 (26) with clock pulses of fck/A in 'HIGH' interval (N polarity reproducing) of a control signal. Next, in 'LOW' interval of the control signal (S polarity reproducing), count down is performed in the counter 1 (24) with clock pulses of frequency of fck/B. And the number of borrow signals generated in each counter (24), (25), and (26) are counted until the next rising of the control signal.
