Abstract:
PURPOSE: To easily release the lock of a lid to the case main body of a disk cartridge capable of putting a disk in or taking it out with one hand holding the disk cartridge.
CONSTITUTION: The lid 13 is attached to the case main body 12 housing the disk D so as to open and close freely. Look means 20 are fitted to the both front side corners of the case main body 12 and engaging hook parts 21 are projected from the lid 13 corresponding to the lock means 20. The lock means 20 are composed of arm parts 20a forming lock lugs 20b engaging with the engaging hook parts 21 and operating parts 20c which is connected with the arm parts 20a and form the both corners of the peripheral wall parts 17 and 19 of the case main body 12. The operating parts 20c of the both lock means 20 are pressed inward with the one hand holding the cartridge from the both sides then the lock of the lid 13 is released.
