PURPOSE: To obtain the subject device of extremely simple constitution by enabling the changeover between driving of a tray and lifting/lowering of a reproducing part by means of an intermediate gear in its rotational direction.
CONSTITUTION: A rotational resistance is generated on a friction gear 29a in accordance with the rotational direction of the intermediate gear 30 by driving force transmitted by a driving motor 24a in the direction of an arrow, and an arm 29 is energized by this resistance in the direction of an arrow A, and then the gear 29a is brought into contact with a gear part 26a of a lifting and lowering cam 26 so that the lifting and lowering cam 26 is rotated in the direction of an arrow. An axial part 33b fixed to a turning plate 33 is energized by a turning spring 31 toward a cam surface 26b of a lifting and lowering cam 26, and the turning plate 33 is revolved around a revolving shaft part 33a to carry out a lifting/lowering operation in accordance with the height of the cam surface 26b. Under the lowest state of the cam surface 26b, a disk 5 is raised upward from a disk mounting part of a tray 1 stopped in a reproducing position by a turntable, and hence the disk 5 becomes rotatably by the turntable, so that a recording signal on the disk is reproduced by tracing of an optical block.
