PURPOSE: To expedite the change of disks by supplying only a stored music CD by selectively making an access.

CONSTITUTION: When even one disk out of disks in a disk-storing part 1 is judged to have been interchanged, a judgement whether it is a CD-ROM disk or a music CD is carried out over all disks which have been interchanged, and the judged information is stored in a RAM 5. A direct access is made exclusively for the next music CD based on the stored judgement information. When a request for change of a disk is raised from a key input part, a music CD to be reproduced next is selectively taken out based on the information for judgement stored in the RAM 5 to supply it to a reproducing device 2.
