Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk device smaller than the conventional drive as to the disk device for performing at least one out of the recording and reproducing operation of the information with respect to the disk.
SOLUTION: A disk changer 100 is furnished with a base board 130, a chassis 140 turnable with respect to the base board 130, a pickup 160 for accessing the disk while being movably supported with the chassis 140, and a guide shaft 180 for guiding the pickup 160 by coming into contact with the pickup 160. The guide shaft 180 is provided with one end part 180a approaching, or separating from, the chassis 140 and arranged so as to be turnable around a shaft 181 which extends in the direction almost orthogonal to the moving direction of the pickup 160 with respect to the chassis 140.
