Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the time needed to initialize a mechanism part 11 when the power source of a carousel player 10 is turned on by eliminating the need to specially move a tray containing a CD when the mechanism part 11 is initialized.
SOLUTION: As the carousel player 10 is powered off, the position state of the tray and a traverse right before that are stored in a nonvolatile memory 18. When the carousel player 10 begins to be powered on, the information stored in the nonvolatile memory 18 is read out to grasp the initial position of the tray and traverse in initialization.
