To provide a disk reproducing device capable of stably equalizing an RF amplifier even when there is severe fluctuations in the oscillation of the VCO clock of data PLL during seeking or the like for CAV reproducing, and to provide an RF amplifier control circuit used therefor.

A DVD system is provided with a voltage control oscillator(VCO) 31 specialized for RF equalizing and a low-pass filter 30 in order to perform controlling for TF equalizing based on a data reproducing clock. By using the low-band component of the voltage controlled oscillator following-up a data rate to control the voltage oscillator, an RF amplifier 15 slowly following-up the change of the data rate is obtained. Thus, even when there is server fluctuation in the oscillation of the VCO clock of data PLL 19, since the oscillation frequency of RFVCO for controlling the equalizing characteristics of the RF amplifier 15 slowly follows up, the stable equalizing operation of the RF amplifier 15 is enabled.
