Abstract:
PURPOSE: To reduce the time required for the period from the time when a tray is housed in the main body of reproducing device until the time when a disk is reproduced.
CONSTITUTION: The existence of an LV is discriminated by detecting whether a light from a light emitting means 168 is received or not by a light receiving means 170 through holes 42,70 of the tray part 31 in the course of housing the tray part 31 in the main body of reproducing device. When no light receiving signal exists, the LV is concluded as existent, and a stand-by operation for LV reproduction is promptly started to allow the reproduction to start right after the housing of tray part is completed.
