To provide a knife dispenser capable of minimizing a risk of injury even when a knife is taken out manually or by hand.

The dispenser for the thin knife (2), especially, for the replaceable microtome and the like has a casing (3) for housing the knives (2) (a knife laminated body) which are mutually stacked for arrangement. In the dispenser, the knife laminated body is pressed toward a lid part of the casing (3) by a spring; there is arranged a let-off device for letting off the individual knives (2) through an opening (9) of a wall part of the casing (3); the opening (9) is formed in a longitudinal wall (10) of the casing (3); the let-off device (8) makes the knife (2) turned and let-off from the casing (3) along a surface including a longitudinal surface of the knife (2); and after turning and let-off, a knife- edge part (11) is brought into a state of being directed toward the opening (9).
