Abstract:
To provide a shear type dispersion device which prevents reverse flow of a mixture to the rotary shaft side to prevent the mixture from being dried and containing air bubbles.SOLUTION: A shear type dispersion device 1 supplies a slurry or liquid mixture 5 and disperses the mixture. The shear type dispersion device 1 includes: a bearing 14; a rotary shaft 16 which is supported by the bearing 14 in a manner that the rotary shaft 16 can rotate around a vertical axis; a stator 3; a rotor 2 which is disposed so as to face a lower surface of the stator 3 and is fixed to the rotary shaft 16 to be rotationally driven; and an air purge seal mechanism 40 which supplies air to a gap 4 which is located between an upper surface 2a of the rotor 2 and the lower surface of the stator 3 and supplied with the mixture. A mixture supply port 32 is provided at the stator 3. At an area located between an opening end 32a and the rotary shaft 16 in the gap 4, a base part is fixed to one of the rotor 2 and the stator 3 and a seal member 41 with which a tip part elastically contacts is provided at the other.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
