PURPOSE: To practically use the photographing information of various kinds and to obtain high quality print by reading/displaying information recorded on a film when a printed photograph is produced.

CONSTITUTION: A negative film completely developed 10 is taken up and housed in a cartridge 11. On the other hand, a transparent magnetic recording layer is formed on the surface opposite to the sensitive emulsion surface of the film, and has the recording of film information, the photographing information, etc., when the film is produced, photographing is carried out, etc. Then, a printer part 30 prints and exposes the images of each frame of the film 10 to a color paper 31. On the other hand, the magnetic playback head 40 of a reading part 32 reads the recording information recorded on the transparent magnetic recording layer of the film 10, and this reading signal is sent to a decoder 41, converted thereon, and then, sent to a controller 42. The controller 42 displays the recording information on a display 45. An operator corrects a printing/ exposing quantity based on the recording information of various kinds displayed on the display 45.
