Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device that provides AR (Augmented Reality), in particular, MR display, the display device being able to appropriately display a virtual object.SOLUTION: A display device is able to display augmented reality by displaying a virtual object over a video image. When a marker image is recognized from a photographic image (YES in S103), display information for displaying a virtual object regulated for each marker image is referred to, and the virtual object associated with the marker image and a display position are specified (S105). If a plurality of marker images associated with the same virtual object are recognized from the photographic image (YES in S107), one of the marker images is selected (S111), and the imaginary object associated with the marker image is displayed in the display position for the photographic image, which has been regulated by the display information (S113).
