Abstract:
PURPOSE: To keep a display constant without depending on a current discharged by changing a residual detection voltage according to the current discharged in a battery residual capacity display device for detecting the residual capacity by a battery voltage.
CONSTITUTION: This battery residual capacity display device is provided with a current detection means 2 connected in series to a secondary battery 1 and a battery voltage comparison means 4 to detect a drop in the battery voltage with one or a plurality of voltage comparators receiving the battery voltage and a reference voltage as input. Moreover, a comparison voltage correction means 3 is arranged to perform a correction for raising or lowering the battery voltage or the reference voltage as input of the voltage comparator according to a signal of the current detection means 2 and a display means 5 to display the residual capacity by a signal of the battery voltage comparison means 4 thereby keeping a display constant without depending on a current discharged.
