Abstract:
To provide a display device of a vehicle peripheral image capable of extensively detecting and displaying a moving body around a vehicle without providing a plurality of cameras, and performing useful image display.
A moving body moving on the ground is detected from an image picked up by a wide angle camera for picking up images around a vehicle at a wide angle. When it is determined that the moving body moving on the ground is detected, the entire image picked up by the wide angle camera is displayed. When it is determined that any moving body moving on the ground is not detected, an image subjected to the predetermined processing to the image picked up by the wide angle camera is displayed.
