To provide a display device which reduces leakage of electromagnetic waves from a flexible cable and dissipates heat generated by electronic member such as a control circuit.
The display device includes: a display unit 7 having a metallic member 71 provided on a rear surface thereof; a flexible cable 6 having one end connected to the display unit 7; a substrate 5 on which a control circuit 51 for controlling the display unit 7 is mounted and to which the other end of the flexible cable 6 is connected; a composite member 8 including a spacer member 81 partially provided between the metallic member 71 and the flexible cable 6 to form a gap between the flexible cable 6 and the metallic member 71 and a heat dissipating member 82 partially provided between the metallic member 71 and the substrate 5 to dissipate heat from the substrate 5.
