A display device includes a display unit with flexibility, a detection unit for detecting a deflection amount and a deflection direction of the display unit, a determination unit for determining a visible face and a non-visible face of the display unit on the basis of the detection result of the detection unit, and a control unit for controlling the display contents of the display unit based on the determination result of the determination unit.
