Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device that is able to reduce a reflecting component that causes light made incident on the display device from outside to be emitted out of the display device and that is able to effectively reduce light emitted from adjacent light-emitting elements.SOLUTION: A display device comprises: a first substrate 11 and a second substrate 12; and a plurality of light emitting elements 10. Light is emitted via the second substrate 12. Each light emitting element 10 is formed by stacking, in order from the first substrate side, a first electrode 51, an organic layer 70 with a light emitting layer, a second electrode 52, and a sealing layer 15. A light diffusion layer 80 containing fine particles 81 is formed between the sealing layer 15 and the second substrate 12. An orthogonal projection image of fine particles 81 in the light diffusion layer 80 is not overlapping the second substrate 12. Alternatively, a light diffusion layer is formed between the sealing layer and the second substrate. The light diffusion layer is composed of a flat part and a plurality of projections each of which is formed from part of a spherical surface projecting from the flat part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
