Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device which can facilitate the color designating operations and also can show a specific part of a color solid that is equal to a section view in an easy-to-understand way. SOLUTION: This display device includes a storage part 11 which stores a color solid having plural pieces of color information consisting of the hue, lightness and chroma saturation, an input part 8, a display part 7 and a control part 9. The part 9 displays the color solid including a diagram having a squint of the section of the color solid defining the lightness as the prescribed value at the part 7 corresponding to input of a lightness key of the part 8. As a section squint diagram is displayed together with a color solid diagram, a user can easily understand a specific part of the color solid that is equal to the section squint diagram.
