Abstract:
PURPOSE:To provide the device which is small in size and low in cost, and also, whose operation service life is long. CONSTITUTION:In an optical fiber block 1, one end face of many optical fibers 2 is placed two-dimensionally by using a prescribed spacer, etc., and the display surface 3 is formed. These optical fibers 2 are divided alternately on every other piece in the horizontal direction. Subsequently, one pair (2G) which are not arranged straight alternately in the vertical direction, in those which are divided on every other piece of these optical fibers 2 are collected. Also, the remaining optical fibers 2 are divided (2R, 2B) alternately in the vertical direction and collected. Moreover, the other end face of the optical fibers 2 divided into three pairs (R, G, B) and drawn out is placed by the same array as the display surface 3, respectively and incident faces 4R, 4G and 4B are formed. This device is provided with cathode ray tubes 5R, 5G and 5B for executing a monochromatic display of red, green and blue, respectively with respect to these incident faces 4R, 4G and 4B.
