Abstract:
To reduce the influence due to external light without impairing image quality.SOLUTION: A display unit 1 comprises: a light emitting unit 12 that emits light; an image generation unit 13 that generates image light by using the light emitted from the light emitting unit 12; a diffuser plate 15 that diffuses the image light; and a condensing element 16 that receives the light diffused by the diffuser plate 15 and has a condensing function. Structures in a light path from the light emitting unit 12 to the diffuser plate 15 are arranged at positions different from a condensing portion 65 of external light 61 passing through the diffuser plate 15 via the condensing element 16.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10
