Abstract:

To achieve thinning by using an adhesive also as a means for preventing scattering of glass even when a transparent cover is broken, and to prevent the variation in spread amount of the adhesive and shape after the adhesive is cured.

The display unit 1 is constituted by sticking a scattering preventing sheet 4 to the transparent cover 3, forming an aperture 40 in the center part of the scattering preventing sheet 4, forming a layer of the adhesive 6 inside the aperture 40, and attaching the display 5 to the transparent cover 3 with the adhesive 6. The transparent cover 3 is made of glass, and the scattering preventing sheet 4 has adhesiveness to glass. The adhesive 6 applied inside the aperture 40 fixes the display 5 to the transparent cover 3 and also has a function to prevent scattering of glass when the transparent cover 3 is broken.
