When receiving an item switch instruction signal for urging switch of display of an upper hierarchy display item P2 displayed in the upper hierarchy menu 33 via input means 10, the control means 20 operates the display means 30 to perform such display that a lower hierarchy display item P3 displayed in the lower hierarchy menu 34 starts moving when a predetermined period has passed after the upper hierarchy display item P2 starts moving in response to the item switch instruction signal.
