PURPOSE: To provide the device in which the map of a destined area is picked up from a microfilm and is displayed, through a photoelectric conversion, on a display together with the present position of the moving body and the trace of movement of the same.
CONSTITUTION: A predetermined map information on a microfilm 5 is continuously read by an image take-up device 6, and the map of the destined area is continuously displayed on the image surface of a display unit 7. The running distance is calculated and the running directions are judged every moment. A mark M1 representing the present position of the moving body, mark M2 representing the running direction of the same, and a mark M3 representing the trace from the starting position and the instant position are displayed schematically on the map of the destined area.
