Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a distance measuring apparatus configured to properly measure a distance to an object.SOLUTION: A distance measuring apparatus includes a first light projection unit 11a which emits first pulse light having a fringe pattern, and a second light projection unit 11b which emits second pulse light having a bright part and a dark part inverted from the first pulse light. The first pulse light and the second pulse light are alternately emitted toward the object. A luminance edge of the first pulse light and a luminance edge of the second pulse light are extracted from an image captured by an imaging unit 12. When the luminance edges are located within a predetermined range, they are detected as conjugate edges. A distance to the object is measured by use of the conjugate edges.
