PURPOSE: To provide a distributed equalizer in which linear distributed equalizing capability is enhanced over the entire prescribed band and the deterioration in a band is compensated.
CONSTITUTION: A band deterioration is caused in the gain characteristic (S21 characteristic) by equalizing wavelength distribution through the provision of one or two delay equalizer circuits 32-35 of lumped constant circuit configuration comprising an inductor and a capacitor. Then amplitude equalizer circuits 36, 38, an input buffer circuit 31 and an output buffer circuit 39 are provided to make the gain characteristic of one or more delay equalizing circuits flat, impedance matching is applied to compensate a loss by the one or more delay equalizing circuit or the like. Since the gain in a band other than the prescribed band is increased with an addition circuit, it is preferred to provide a low pass filter circuit eliminating a band other than the prescribed band.
