Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2002250238
Kind Code:

Abstract:

To solve problems in a diesel engine wherein a request for reducing discharged smoke (black smoke) causes the upper limit of injection amount in starting, and easy and accurate adjustment is required.

This distribution type fuel injection pump has a governor link 3 for adjusting the position of a spill ring 42 in response to an operation condition of a vehicle. The fuel injection pump has a high grade compensating device 1 or a super-supplied pressure device having a push rod 15 vertically moving in response to atmosphere or intake negative pressure, an interlocking pin 16 slidably contacting with a tapered part 153 disposed in the push rod 15, and a control arm 2 turnably mounted around a spindle 21, abutting on the interlocking pin 16 at its upper end, and acting on a tension lever 31 at its lower end. The tapered part 153 is formed eccentrically to the shaft core of the push rod 15, and a rod adjusting means 17 is provided to adjust the position of the interlocking pin 16.
