PURPOSE: To make symmetrical car bodies travelable in the state that they are separated from each other, by making these symmetrical car bodies, having front steering wheels and a pair of rear driving wheels, dividable or reunitable.
CONSTITUTION: A dividable automobile is provided with a first car body 2a and a second car body 2b capable of parting right and left along its longitudinal direction, and is travelable in the state these car bodies 2a and 2b are left united, while it is so constituted as to be possible to make each of these car bodies 2a and 2b travel independently in a state of being devided. Each of these car bodies 2a and 2b is provided with a set of front steering wheels 3a and 3b and a pair of rear driving wheels 4a and 4b. Both engines 11a and 11b are mounted on these car bodies whereby these rear driving wheels 4a and 4b are driven via each of drive shafts 12a and 12b extended out of these engines. Under the condition that both car bodies are united, racks 15a and 15b of a steering are connected so that both front steering wheels 3a and 3b are made so as to be steered simultaneously in design.
