Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily mount/remove an outer ring half unit so as to facilitate maintenance, in a divided aligning rolling bearing device.
SOLUTION: A spherical peripheral surface 4b of a lower side outer ring half unit 4 is slidably received by a spherical groove 3a of a lower side bearing case 3. In the peripheral surface 4b of the lower side outer ring half unit 4, a knock pin 14 is provided, to be fitted together with a play to a recessed part provided in a bottom part of the spherical groove 3a of the lower side bearing case 3. A range of the play is an aligning range. The lower side outer ring half unit 4 is rotated with the knock pin 14 serving as the center, both end parts 4c of the lower side outer ring half unit 4 are made to escape from the spherical groove 3a. So as to permit this escape, the lower side bearing case 3 is formed in a flangeless shape. The lower side outer ring half unit 4, left as placed in a stable condition to change an attitude, can be placed in a condition capable of taking out.
