Abstract:
PURPOSE:To enable a gear to be integrally welded in sufficient strength while obtain the high accurate gear eliminating a welding strain, by press fitting one end part of a chamber member into a gear member and integrally forming the both members by plasma welding thereafter forming a tooth in the gear member. CONSTITUTION:A chamfer member 1, being constituted by a chamfer part 2 forming a connection tooth 3 and a press fit part 4 forcedly fitted by pressure to a gear member 11, further provides a bearing hole 5 extending through a center part of the chamfer member 1. While the gear member 11 provides in its center part a through hole 12 accepting the press fit part 4 of the chamfer member 1. And the both members 1, 11 are integrally formed by a plasma welded part 7 by press fitting the press fit part 4 of the chamfer member 1 into the through hole 12 of the gear member 11. And then a gear 13 is formed by applying gear cutting to the gear member 11. In this way, the gear, obtaining a large bead width in the welded part 7, can be integrally welded in sufficient strength, while obtaining high accuracy by eliminating a welding strain.
