Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a document carrying device capable of preventing generation of abnormal noise while reducing a cost by reducing the number of components, capable of serving as a switching means even in a long-term use, allowing flexible adjustment of a lead-in angle depending on the type of the document and easy to assemble.
SOLUTION: This document carrying device is provided with a rotatable reverse guide 116 equipped with a claw part 603 projecting in the vicinity of the entrance of a third carrying passage 204 for returning the document to a reading point. When the document whose first side has been completely read is returned to the reading point (reading mirror) 112 again, the document is carried from its rear end with the rear end of the document mounted on the claw part 603 of the reverse guide 116. When the document whose second side has been completely read is ejected to an ejection table 121, the document is carried from the rear end with the carrying passage 204 closed by erecting the claw part 603 by its own weight by passing it on the claw part 603 of the reverse guide 116.
