A document feeding device includes a paper feeding conveying passage L1 for conveying the document S on a paper feed tray 43 to an document reading position on an document glass plate 41, a delivery conveying passage L2 for conveying the document having passed the document reading position to be delivered onto a paper receiving tray 44, a return conveying passage L3 reversely branching from the delivery conveying passage to be connected in the middle of the paper feeding conveying passage, a delivery roller 58 arranged on a downstream side of a branch part of the return conveying passage from the delivery conveying passage for feeding the document drawn in by a normal rotation to the return conveying passage by a reverse rotation, a first register roller 51 arranged on an upstream side of and near the document reading position in the paper feeding conveying passage, and a second register roller 52 arranged on the downstream side of and near a junction with the return conveying passage in the paper feeding conveying passage, wherein the second register roller performs a skew correction when reading the second face in duplex reading.
