Abstract:

To provide a document management system for printing a document registered in a document management system by using a printer which is not registered in a Web server from a Web client.

When the print request of a document in a print format stored in a document management server is made from a Web client to a printer, the URL of print data is transferred to the printer, and the printer performs access to the transferred URL, and extracts the document from the document management server for printing it.
