PURPOSE: To prevent an elevator from deteriorating its operation such as impossible caused by an increase of load driving a door due to a pressure of air or the like sucked from a hall by constituting the elevator increasing drive torque of a door motor, only when the door drive load is increased, and surely performing the original action of opening and closing the door.

CONSTITUTION: A drive pattern of a door motor 11 and tbe target time of opening and closing a door are stored in each memory device 22 in accordance with each door position. Next from a door position detection signal from a detector 12, the door open-close time in each door position is measured by a time detecting means. A difference between the actual door open-close time measured by this time detecting means and the target door open-close time is measured by a measuring means. A decision means 21 decides this difference for whether or not it exceeds the permissible time. As a result, when the difference exceeds the permissible time, the door is once placed in a fully opened condition. Thereafter a control device 2 outputs a command so as to increase drive torque of the door motor 11 again closing the door.
