To provide an improved door pull for an automatic sliding door, which dispenses with drilling of a hole for exposing a detective surface of a human body sensor, in a sliding door main body, and a decorative cover for the hole, to thereby improve the design of the automatic sliding door.
The door pull 30 consists of an annular rim portion 31 to be superposed on a front surface of the sliding door main body when attached to the same, and a recessed portion 32 sequentially extending from an internal edge of the rim portion 31. The recessed portion 32 has a depression 33 formed in an upper half area thereof, and an opening 34 formed in a lower half area thereof. The depression 33 is one stage deeper than the recessed portion 32 in order to place fingers when the sliding door main body is manually operated for opening/closing. The opening 34 is provided for showing the detective surface of the human body sensor of an opening/closing control unit embedded in the sliding door main body. Therefore, the sliding door main body dispenses with drilling of the hole for exposing the detective surface of the human body sensor, and the decorative cover, which makes the human body sensor inconspicuous, to thereby improve the design of the sliding door main body.
