Abstract:

To provide a dopant for an electroconductive polymer having high electric conductivity and excellent heat resistance and flame retardance.

The dopant for the electroconductive polymer includes a quaternary phosphonium salt represented by general formula (1) (wherein, R1, R2and R3represent each 1-8C alkyl, and may mutually be the same or different, and R1and R2may be bonded to form a ring; n represents the number of methylenes, and n is 1-6; R4to R8represent each hydrogen or a substituent, and may mutually be the same or different; and X-represents an anion).
