Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a double bearing type reel in a double bearing type fishing reel equipped with a breaking force providing means of a shaft end pressure contact method, capable of preventing the seizure of a shaft end part besides the improvement of a spool shaft itself and, even in a double bearing type reel coaxially equipped with a spool shaft and a thrust shaft, capable of preventing the seizure of a shaft end part and improving durability.
SOLUTION: In this double bearing type reel equipped with a breaking force providing means for supplying the rotation of a spool with breaking force by applying rotation resistance to the end part of a spool shaft 51 rotatably supported on a reel main body, the spool shaft 51 and at least its end parts are made of abrasion-resistant members.
