This plasma display apparatus comprises a plasma display panel, a chassis base which is disposed on one side of the plasma display panel to support the plasma display panel, and a double coated adhesive member which is disposed between the plasma display panel and the chassis base in such a manner that the adhesive double coated member is adhered to the plasma display panel at one side thereof and is adhered to the chassis base at another side thereof, wherein the adhesive double coated member comprises a first adhesive layer adhered to the plasma display panel, a second adhesive layer adhered to the chassis base, and a base material layer which is adhesive-bonded between the first adhesive layer and the second adhesive layer and which has a shearing stress smaller than those of the first and second adhesive layers.
