CONSTITUTION: The band piece pile BS of the strand blank constituted by gathering the optical fibers for every group and forming the band piece pile BS by the plural band pieces B is arranged apart a play SR within the coating material VU1 of the blank. The band pieces B are arranged above and below slidingly movably and nonexchangeably in position within the band piece pile BS similarly apart the play SR. The band piece pile BS is stranded like a screw. All the band pieces B and all the optical fibers arranged therein have the same length in average and this length is nearly correspondent to the length on the outer side of the cylindrical strand blank VE 1.
